Project Brief

Northwest BUS, a joint venture between Spain’s Moventis and Saudi Arabia’s Al Qaid Transportation Co., was awarded the intercity bus transport concession for the northwest region of Saudi Arabia by the Transport General Authority (TGA) . As part of its brand development, Northwest BUS partnered with MusicGrid to create a sonic logo that encapsulates its commitment to reliable, comfortable, and modern intercity travel.

The Challenge

Operating across over 60 cities, including Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah, and Riyadh, Northwest BUS required a sonic identity that resonates with a diverse passenger base . The challenge was to develop a concise audio signature that conveys trust, innovation, and the essence of seamless travel, aligning with the company's slogan, "Your Ride to Tomorrow."

Our Approach

MusicGrid designed a brief, dynamic sonic logo featuring layered tones and motion-inspired rhythms. The composition reflects the brand's values of confidence, innovation, honesty, commitment, and sustainability, as highlighted on their official website . The sound was tailored for integration across various platforms, including digital interfaces, station announcements, and promotional materials.
